C: Literary Embellishment
Nate Meng and The Stolen Sea are a band. They are individuals. They are love and anger. They are the thrill of a chaotic universe. They write songs about all of us. (-Nate)

The Stolen Sea is a musical collective started by founding member and multi-instrumentalist Nate Meng.  As such the band takes turns showcasing the muscial ideas of each of its members as well as evolving compositions from the collective as a whole.  The Band is currently working on an upcoming release titled ‘Blanket Songs’ that features John Hitchcock’s exploration of Kiowa and Commanche songs and ghost stories, as well as two additional releases bringing to life the unique songwriting of Nate Meng and collaborator Jess Estes.(-Lance Owens, Artworking)
